Pretty Puff Kindle Bag + The Patchwork Tote
In case you couldn’t tell, I absolutely LOVE to make bags, and I also LOVE to use two and a half inch squares for patchwork. The inspiration for this drop came from some gorgeous fabrics I got from a lovely friend (Anna I’m talking about you) for my birthday. She knew me very well and chose the colours perfectly. So I began to cut SO many squares.
There were triumphs, failures and distractions. First, I made my lovely green patchwork bag but my math was wrong and so it was too big for a kindle but too small for a notebook so I took minute to calm my silly perfectionist brain down.
Then, in came The Pretty Puff kindle bag which of course required a different size square to be cut and a little trouble shooting to perfect the pattern. However, when by the 3rd try it was perfect and I was in LOVE and so I made six more to share with you.
Out of my math-not-mathing moment The Patchwork Tote was born. The satisfaction of the interfacing method for perfect seams made my heart SO happy. While I dream of a full suite of coordinating bags to share with you, I hope you enjoy this next drop.
Introducing The Moon Bag
Not all heroes wear black. Some of us choose lilac flying leathers, blush-pink armour, and a touch of stardust. The Moon Bag is my answer to all the fantasy lovers who want their everyday gear to feel just as magical as the worlds they escape to.
Handmade from quality cotton fabric with soft foam padding to keep your treasures safe, this little beauty measures approximately 6.5" x 7.5" - the perfect size for your e-reader, a slow stitching project, or any small bits and bobs you’d like to keep tucked away. The zip closure keeps everything secure, while the pretty lining inside feels like a little secret, just for you.
Inspired by the crescent moon - my personal symbol for fantasy, magic, and endless possibility - this bag is here to make you smile every single time you reach for it. Whether you’re pulling out your e-reader to dive into another world or your embroidery to enjoy a slow, mindful moment, the Moon Bag is a reminder that life’s too short for boring accessories.
Hi, I’m Zoe and I am so excited to be here making beautiful things for you! I have loved to create from a very young age. I started when my beautiful late mum taught me how to crochet the humble granny square at age 8. I dabbled in all sorts of arts and crafts as a kid, polymer clay, friendship bracelets, make your own beads etc. Now, I spend the majority of my free time at my pretty little sewing station making clothes for myself or pretty bags for you!
This is only the beginning of the journey and I hope to expand to other types of bags in the future. I am starting small with The Moon Bag and shall see how the adventure continues.
